Beginners Yoga in Newcastle Upon Tyne
Don’t worry if you don’t know your cat-curls from your downward-facing-dogs, everybody has to start somewhere, and here at Happy Yoga Newcastle, I love teaching beginners.
Happy Yoga Newcastle Beginners Yoga classes are laid back and fun, without losing the integrity of Yoga. They are perfect for complete beginners, people who have taken a break from their Yoga practice, or those just wanting to go back to basics.
I specialise in un-bendy, unfit people, as well as those very stiff from running or other sports.
If you are a little nervous about starting yoga the beginners classes are a perfect place to start, classes are held on a Monday or Tuesday at 5.45pm.
Classes are not just physical, but also focus on stress relief and relaxation. Whether you’re training for your first Great North Run, in the middle of a big and complicated project at work, or are just looking for some all important ‘You Time’, attending Happy Yoga Newcastle Beginners Yoga classes can help you to cope with the hustle and bustle of modern life; you may even meet some new friends too.
What do I wear to a class?
There is no need to buy special yoga clothes, just wear something comfortable that you can move in, I wear a t shirt and leggings. Yoga is done barefoot so you don’t even have to get trainers.
