Beginners Yoga Classes in Newcastle Upon Tyne
Don’t worry if you don’t know your cat-curls from your downward-facing-dogs, everybody must start somewhere, and here at Happy Yoga Newcastle, we love teaching beginners.
Our yoga instructors specialise in teaching un-bendy, unfit people, as well as those very stiff from running or other sports.

What should I expect at a class?
Classes are not just physical, but also focus on stress relief and relaxation. Classes are laid back and fun. They are perfect for complete beginners, people who have taken a break from their yoga practice, or those just wanting to go back to basics.
What do I wear to a class?
There's no need to buy special yoga clothes, just wear something comfortable that you can move around in. Think t-shirts, shorts, and leggings. Yoga is done barefoot too, so you don’t need trainers.
Classes are in the studio on a Tuesday at 6.15pm .
If you would like an online class we have prerecorded classes and a 6 week beginners course at the online community, all sessions are included in the £15 a month online membership.
