Mam & Baby Yoga Class in Newcastle Upon Tyne
A new baby has spent nine months in the loving cocoon of its mother’s womb and the world outside can seem like a scary, loud place.
Happy Yoga Newcastle Mam and Baby Yoga classes can help to soothe your baby, release oxytocin for bonding and calm your baby through touch.
The baby yoga moves are specifically designed to help relieve bowel complaints, teething, and common childhood ailments. The movements also exercise the baby, promoting a good sleep.
Apart from the obvious physical benefits, Mam and Baby Yoga sessions are also a special time for Mam and Baby to spend together. Babies grow up so fast, and these classes offer you a beautiful opportunity to experience a unique moment in your baby’s development, without any other distractions.
The classes include Baby Yoga, Yoga for you and your baby that you can do together, and also Postnatal Yoga that is specifically designed just for you.
Postnatal Yoga can help repair core strength, the pelvic floor and relieve back ache and neck pain. It’s important to repair the body after having a baby, and that is exactly what Postnatal Yoga is designed to do. We work-out in a gentle, but effective, way that is fun for both Mam and Baby.
Don’t worry if you have never done yoga before, as the classes are suitable for all abilities.
Classes are booked in blocks of four, and cost £35 for the block.
We are easily accesible by public transport but also have plenty of parking just outside which is free after 6.30pm (Manors Car park is a 30 second walk away and that is free after 5pm).

All equipment is provided, so all you need to bring is the usual mountains of stuff you carry for your baby.
