Here are some breathing exercises and a relaxation script for you to use at home between classes.
Relaxation is not our normal state in the world in which we live, so it’s important that we practise relaxation for pregnancy and birth. Practise makes perfect so do these as often as you can.
Practise your breathing somewhere comfortable and where you won’t be disturbed at first, but it’s good to practise your breathing techniques in places that are not naturally relaxing too, so maybe on the bus or on a bench when out shopping, the more you practise the easier it will be to reach calm quickly 🙂 (Please not when driving though!)
Listen to the relaxation script while you are in bed, and if you fall asleep don’t worry.
